who is VY1?

VY1 (codenamed: MIZKI) is a Japanese VOCALOID originally developed and distributed by Bplats, Inc., under the YAMAHA Corporation. Her VOCALOID3 and VOCALOID4 updates were developed and distributed by the YAMAHA Corporation. VY1 was initially released in September 2010 for the VOCALOID2 engine. There has since been a second installment developed for the VOCALOID3 engine and dubbed VY1v3. Both products are released in deluxe and standard editions. In December 2014, a third installment was developed for the VOCALOID4 engine and was dubbed VY1v4. A fourth installment was developed for the VOCALOID5 engine in July 2018.

The voice provider for VY1 has never been revealed.

I LOVE THEM I LOVE THEM I LOVE THEM. my first ever vocaloid otp that i genuinely always come back to. urghhh it's so hard to explain they're literally made for each other aaaaughhhh they make me scream make me gravely ill ughhhh

they're classified as genderless, and don't really have a canon design aside from their vocaloid boxarts and... whatever the a.i.voice ones are (pictured next to this box). they're straight, yuri and yaoi all in one. so damn iconic

also. if you ever draw yuumamizki art (it doesn't even have to be for me, i just like seeing other people draw them) i will worship you forever and ever :)
